It’s been an amazing journey so far, the journey of my life. It’s had its ups and downs, it’s been mind-blowingly fantastic and yet it has also been traumatic and uneasy.

The Tower, when it comes to call, is devastating and yet brilliant. For all it’s destruction and for everything that you lose, you emerge a phoenix from the ashes. And when the dust settles, you find your journey changing again…

And so here I am, about to take another turn in the journey of my life.

The Next Destination

I begin my Bsc Honours in Psychology in March, 2012. I will be devoting myself full time to my studies and have decided to leave professional tarot reading and blogging for this phase of my life. I will still blog from time to time, but this part of the journey isn’t about tarot. Not surprisingly, it’s all about me, my future and where I fit in the world and in my own world.

I will also be spending more time pursuing other things that interest me. I live in the Highlands of Scotland and there is a lot of earth energy work we do here. I learnt how to dowse and go out with a local healing group helping to heal the land, homes and the people in them. The area I live in is very energetic with a lot of leys, stone circles, standing stones, cup marked stones, tumuli and other neolithic monuments.

I’m fortunate enough to live close to the oldest living tree in Europe, a yew tree which I visit often for clarity of mind and when I need renewal. There is a lot of psychic activity around this tree and has brought spirits forward that are seeking their own healing. I love this work and find myself drawn to it more and more. I also want to write about it, in time.

I’m also in the middle of completing a course in NLP and another separate one in Life Coaching and Counselling – you can see a theme building there… It’s time for a less demanding and more simple life, and one spent less online. As my partner calls it, “unhooking from the Matrix.” And he’s right. Something has to give.

The End of an Era

The Tarot Elements Page on Facebook will be a casualty of this phase of my journey and will be deleted in the coming week. I weighed that one up for a while as it’s been such a wonderful source of friendship, knowledge and discovery but I cannot devote the same amount of time it requires and if I can’t do it 100%, I won’t do it at all – I’m a Virgo after all….

The newsletter will also be a victim of these new changes in my life. If you’ve previously signed up for it, you will still receive any new content added, I just won’t be producing a separate monthly newsletter.

Valerie, Stacy and Johanne are all working out their own ideas of bringing their awesome thoughts and material to you, so follow them on Twitter, friend them on Facebook to keep up to date on their own projects. Their author pages will remain on the blog so you can still contact them.

I will still produce the Daily Taroscope at least for the short term. I like to write them as much as you like to read them and hope that they will also help me keep a sense of perspective while I’m knee deep in psychology material, NLP, counselling books, geopathic stresss and all the things that are moving me further away from my current place. Change is good and I’m really psyched about the changes taking place in my life right now.

I will still blog from time to time, you never really leave tarot as it never leaves you, but it’s time for the next part of the journey of my life.
