Copyright
It’s a sad indictment of society that I even have to do this, but after finding my work splashed unceremoniously across another website, I have no choice but to lay out my Copyright and Intellectual Property position.
I’m honoured that you may find my work good enough to want to reproduce, or share with your own readers. The bottom line is that I spend a long time researching, preparing, writing articles and producing artwork to make my work as comprehensive and attractive as I can.
I’m more than happy for you to use my work as a teaching aid in your classes; I’m also happy for you to link to my work via the relevant pages; but please don’t take my work wholesale and call it your own. I have ‘right-click’ disabled on my site to prevent unscrupulous usage of my work – if your request is genuine and you would like to use my work for your classes or workshops, please get in touch.
Where I may have used another’s work, written or visual, I have sought permission from the writer/artist, or the work is already in the public domain. I don’t help myself to another’s work, I don’t think anyone else should either.
If you would like to speak to me further about this, or indeed, would like to use any of my work in your teaching manuals, classes or websites, please contact me and I will happily talk to you about it.
