Another great post on this subject! As I learn, one of the first thing I do is look at the elemental qualities of the card. I am starting to delve into card pairings and how the different elements relate to each other, but am trying not to push it too far. This is a great go-to guide about the basics!

I do indeed make all my own graphics. I feel that it’s really important to illustrate an article well and I probably take as long to organise the artwork as I do writing the post! It’s a process I enjoy though and I’m learning new ways to illustrate all the time.
