I love this image!
I found it on one of my awesome internet surfing days, you know the ones where you understand the term ’surfing’? I just hopped, skipped and jumped to one wonderful website after another and it was a delightful day.
It was made all the more delightful when I found this image on another blog out there in the blogosphere – not a tarot blog mind you, a photographic one.
I immediately contacted the owner and asked for permission to use his image on Tarot Elements, and he kindly agreed – result!
Only I didn’t know what to do with it! I knew it belonged in my new category, Inspirations, as this woman immediately inspires me and reminds me that anything is possible. If you really want to do something, the only obstacle is yourself and your excuses.
So I thought about adding a nice poem, or some other inspiring piece of prose to it, but thought, you know, other people may see this differently to me, I wonder what they think when they see it?
Let’s Have Some Fun!
And so, after much deliberation, and consultation with some of my Twitter buddies, I have decided to throw this wide open and let you guys name this picture! What do you think of when you look at this tarot reader sat in the doorway?
Do you have a caption for it? Or a piece of prose you think fits perfectly with it? Do you think of a Tarot card in particular when you see it? In fact, is there a Tarot card combination that springs to mind? Which Major Arcana might she be?
Let’s have some fun with it and see what we all come up with – a caption, or even some prose, a verse, a song lyric – what comes to mind when you see this picture?
And the prize?
Your name in lights – in your own post, with full links to your blog or website – well I did say this one was just for fun
