Hi Sharyn,

While I'm familiar with crystal or glass singing bowls, I'd never heard of an armonica and only heard one online for the first time today, the sound it makes is beautiful isn't it?!

I came across a cool website where the man who runs it, William Zeitler, actually plays one and has mp3's on his site so you can hear the sound. It's pretty cool, I spent quite a bit of time there today just chilling out listening to his music.

It seems to be a rare thing these days, playing an armonica, and is all the more special in my eyes as it was invented by my favourite historical figure Benjamin Franklin! There doesn't seem to be an end in what he was involved in (check out my post Waking The Dead), which leads me to be reminded of something I did know he was credited with inventing, and something I just might write a post on... watch this space...

Thank you for inspiring me yet again!!

Lovely to hear from you, as always,

Have you ever played the armonica? Take flicking a drinking glass and elevate it about a 1000 times.
You are welcome to review my blog but I'm immaterial...anything worth knowing about me creeps into my blogs sooner or later, usually sooner.
I've been working with cards for about 4 years I think, don't believe in predictive tarot, and enjoy working with oracles, and particularly would like to devote more time to working with my Tibetan Oracle doing Four Pillars readings for people...some day when I get my life back.

Thanks for stopping by Quirkeries, Sharyn/AJ
