Out of the ashes rises the phoenix!
Ok, there’s no phoenix, but there might have been some ashes from yesterday’s Tower. Today brings us perhaps the best card to follow it – the Chariot. And what a welcome sight it is.
If the walls came tumbling down yesterday, you have your very own express train to get you the hell outta there and into a better place.
Not just that, the charioteer (that’s you) is in control and focused but also calm and serene – think John Wayne as opposed to Billy the Kid.
The Chariot in the Medieval Scapini shows elevation and not just distance from troubles. This could be read in a spiritual way, and why not – the Tower itself is often seen as a spiritual event. The easiest way to physically get out of a disaster zone is by a helicopter lift.
What’s also interesting to note is the numerological relationship between the Tower and the Chariot - 16 and 7 respectively. 16 reduces to 7 (1+6=7). This is known as reduction and if we apply that reduction to the sequence of these cards we come from destruction to victory – the pheonix rising from the ashes.
In other words, whatever calamity may have befallen you yesterday, no matter how big or small, today you will rise from it and begin a new chapter in your life, refreshed, revigorated and renewed.
The Hand of God may well have touched you. Most likely, it just steered you into the right direction – now it’s time for you to take the reins and begin your new journey.
