The Fool

And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. ~ Anais Nin

The Fool reminds us that we are ever changing and ever growing. We are growing into our selves, our new and fresh selves. All that has gone before has been the catalyst that transformed us into who we are and who we are about to be.

On the back of the Emperor from yesterday, this perfect card shows us that embodying even a masculine and seemingly aggressive archetype can bring completion and wholeness. Our gentleness born from the metamorphosis of our inner beings.

Change is inevitable, the cocoon merely wrapping us up safe until we are ready to take the risk to blossom.

Strength protects gentleness and gentleness nurtures strength, they co-exist naturally.

Think about your continuing metamorphosis today, as one more piece of the cocoon falls away – will you be ready to take the risk?
