Thank you to everyone who entered the just for fun Caption Competition from Motivational Monday.

There were some great entries – even some on Twitter and Facebook that didn’t quite make it over here, but hey, it was only just for fun!

And so without further ado from myself, the winner of the Caption Competition with her wonderful haiku is:

Katrina Wynne

mystery calls you
sitting with her oracle
no door remains closed

Thank you Katrina for such a wonderful entry, not least of all your Facebook comment on my own pages:

If I were creating a Tarot deck from images such as this photograph, I would name this one the High Priestess. It is as if you must go into the unknown with her and her cards in order to pass through the “closed” door behind her.

I love it! And agree with the High Priestess. But it also reminds me of the Hermit card as depicted in The Cosmic Deck.

Katrina’s haiku is marvelous. The irony is too wonderful.

Dear Catherine and Tarot friends,

I am tickled and honored that you like the haiku. Life is truly a reflection of the wisdom of the Tarot with captured moments, such as this photograph, which raise our awareness to the higher, archetypal lessons of life.

Thank you, Catherine, for being the High Priestess of “Tarot Elements”, offering us the door that we must decide to enter.

Love & Light, Katrina

P.S. In light of recent reminders of improper use of other’s material, the above haiku is ©2009 Katrina Wynne. Please feel free to contact me if you would like my permission to share this with you in a different setting or medium.

Hi Katrina, thank you for such a lovely comment and compliment – I like the sound of the High Priestess of Tarot Elements, though I think I need to make sure I don’t get carried away with myself! Thank you for sweet interaction with the blog, it’s lovely having you here :)
