Tarot Elements Contributors - Helen's Illumination Tarot Spread

This is a little spread I designed for those who like to look at what the coming week may hold for them. (I have shown this on my own blog) Having tried it out many times, I have found it to work well and give valuable insight. I call it ‘Illuminate” – A weekly Plan.

Layout: is a candle (Card 1) with the light around the flame (a little imagination needed here!)

1: This is what I need to be aware of in preparation for the coming week.

2: This is what my emotions tell me.

3: This is what my thoughts tell me.

4: This is how I combine my emotions and thoughts to assist me through the week.

I hope you enjoy trying out my Illumination Spread!

Helen’s spread is so flexible – and I love that! Not confined to just a weekly Tarot reading, the Illumination Tarot Spread can be adapted to help with almost any situation. The layout also lends itself perfectly to reading with elemental dignities, card combinations and card pairing. I love the way Card 4 pulls the reading together and cements Cards 2 and 3 – it may look simple, but it’s an extremely powerful spread!

Join me tomorrow when I share with you, my own personal reading I did today using Helen’s Illumination Tarot Spread – complete with elemental dignities and card pairing!

We’d love to hear how you get on with the Illumination Tarot Spread – did you find it easy to use? How revealing was the reading it provided? Did you try using elemental dignities with it, or card pairing? Please share your experiences with us here – we’re all ears ;)

Helen, Catherine:

I am going to try this spread this week and will let you know how I do. I like the circular pattern and the motion of the spread. It looks approachable to readers at all levels, which is wonderful. Although, there is more going on here than just a four card spread.

Thanks for sharing your creation Helen.

Hi Nicole – I’m really pleased you’re going to try Helen’s Illumination Spread – I think it’s a very direct, but deep spread, with or without the elemental dignities. Please do let me know how you get on, and if you need any help along the way, don’t hesitate to drop me a line :)
