Svetlana’s Terrific Tarot Muffin Spread
It’s a simple spread, no fuss. Tells you all you need to know without worrying about who’s covering each sign in what house. It can be used to check the coming week, see how a situation will progress or do a plain general reading.
The bottom three positions, like any three card layout, can be used in many ways. For example:
- Past – present – future
- positive – overview – negative
- querent – near future – outcome
Card four is Advice. I like to do proactive readings. How do you get from point a to b? What can I actually do to stop x or y from sucking so much?
Card five is Changes and Opportunities. This can back the future card up or be a specific event the person can take advantage of.

I loved the flexibility of this spread, being able to change the bottom three cards is very useful, with the top two cards adding extra insight into the Tarot reading. Thanks for your comment. What’s also really useful about this spread is it allows for card pairing and reading a three card combination after your initial interpretation – a great way to practice those new skills of yours
Would Svetlana like to see her spread on my website – Always looking for new spreads and the idea of Muffin shaped – irresistable!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who joins as a free member of the site will have the opportunity and the flexibility of changing the cards to incorporate the first three cards to their liking. Yes card pairing and three card combos…glad you mentioned that…there are soooooo many possibilities…very cool…now I just need to find some time and some peace and quiet to try it.
